What are Stresskin Panels or SIPs?
A thick panel is created by sandwiching polyurethane insulation between two sheets of oriented strand board (OSB) and, in some cases, one of these layers is drywall.
This results in a structural insulated panel (SIP) that can be fastened directly to the exterior of the Timberframe frame in a home or over the rafters/purlins on the roof.
The result is a perfectly sealed insulation system that outperforms any other wall system and can be installed quickly with an experienced crew.
